This was my first time cooking jackfruit and I’m pretty pleased. Def wasn’t fooled that it was pork, but it’s a delicious meatless option in its own right!

It was the first time making Jackfruit. I think the next time I will rinse the fruit better before chopping. I may also add a bit more barbecue sauce. The end product had a distinctive vinegar taste.
Overall very easy to make and my family gave it a thumbs up.

Great, super simple, super yummy. I added mushrooms cause I like them, but would be fine without them.

i did not follow the recipe totally, instead of BBQ sauce i used honey, cumin and paprika. i could not leave it alone, i loved it.

Terrific! Baking the jackfruit gives a great texture and intensifies the barbecue flavor. I mixed in some beans to make a heartier main course. Everyone (both kids) enjoyed it, which is unheard of. A definite keeper!

Cut the recipe in half and had more than enough for two. Followed directions as is, served over homemade rolls with suggested coleslaw ... and it was sooo good! Even worked for leftovers next day. Not sure how the other reviewer missed the baking instructions, but that really was the key trick. A keeper for sure.

It was good. I like it, but it is missing one step I saw on another jackfruit recipe. If you want the edges to have that rubbed/seared texture and taste, you need to spread out on a baking sheet after cooking. Put in the oven at 450 for 10 mins or so. This makes it a little tougher and drier. The leftover or separate sauce can be used to top it off on a bun! Makes a world of difference!

So easy! So tasty! This was the quickest dinner with little to clean up. I used canned jackfruit and it turned out amazing. Served on Hawaiian buns with coleslaw. Definitely impressed myself and the boyfriend with this one. 👍🏻👍🏻
