This is excellent! My chicken bone broth was not well seasoned so I added salt. I did not use the cream. The basil adds and elevates it over the standard grocery store boxed soup.

this was really easy too make just a little sour.. I did not want to out too much sugar in it. also the garlic tasted weird.

Ummm maybe it was the tomatoes because it seemed like I could taste a metallic flavor

I made this for my husband and myself tonight. Flavor was excellent. I didn’t have fresh basil, so I used dried, and then added some rosemary. Excellent tasting and easy to make.

This was a really good, easy to make homemade tomato soup!
Just as an FYI (because I did not realize initially) the ingredient for "plums" is a typo on Yummly's part. If you read the ingredients on the directions it's the "whole plum tomatoes" the recipe recommends.
