Ummm maybe it was the tomatoes because it seemed like I could taste a metallic flavor

I made this for my husband and myself tonight. Flavor was excellent. I didn’t have fresh basil, so I used dried, and then added some rosemary. Excellent tasting and easy to make.

Added a bit of rosemary, but followed the recipe otherwise!

This was a really good, easy to make homemade tomato soup! Just as an FYI (because I did not realize initially) the ingredient for "plums" is a typo on Yummly's part. If you read the ingredients on the directions it's the "whole plum tomatoes" the recipe recommends.

Fantastic! I cooked it with the cream in it and sprinkled a little bit of mozzarella in each bowl. So good!
