These were great and easy but didn't expand as expected and came out closer to the density of biscuits

So very easy homemade rolls delicious and better than store bought. I cooked a little longer than recommended for a more brown top, after removing from oven I spread butter no the tops. These are only 2 of us, I froze 1/2 of them for later.

My rolls didn't rise right before baking. They turned out really dense. Not sure where I went wrong. They sound fool proof.
