Great go to recipe. Quick and easy. I bake the base for 10min before placing topping. It's much more crispy this way

This is a very easy recipe to follow. I had finally ran out of dinner ideas to make with the few ingredients I had left. I could put on my face mask and go to the grocery armed with my handmade sanitizer and about $40. I felt so down. I had been trying to keep my grocery store trips to the same days I could afford medicine and detergent. I knew they would not have the two items I needed desperately: toilet paper and paper towels. Then I found this 30 Minute Pizza Crust. My sister had just given me 6 packets of yeast. Those were precious. Yeast was sold out everywhere and had been since the first weekend of March. I had one cup of leftover marinara sauce, 6 breakfast link sausages, onions, a little Parmesan, some shredded cheddar and goat cheese, a red pepper and a green one (both somewhat shriveled), and flour. I was excited. Then I realized I was out of olive oil, butter, and margarine. I drained the olive oil off the top of my Italian dressing and took the sausage out of the links. But what made it a pizza was this crust. If you are reading this in April of 2020 you will understand this review. I have been very poor in my life. But I hadn’t been for many many years. I still don’t consider this poor. But if you would have told me on January 1, 2020, that I would consider 6 envelopes of fast-rising yeast (Fleischman’s) a priceless gift, I would have said you were crazy.

Very good! I added Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the dough. Will definitely make again.

I have been looking for a perfect pizza crust recipe for many years, and this is the best one I have found! It made two thin crust pizzas, and I would recommend doubling the recipe if you have a crowd to feed. I didn't have rapid-rise yeast, just the standard Fleischman's yeast that comes in a jar (I bake bread frequently). I did rise it twice before using the dough, but will try without a rise and report back! I prefer a high heat method on my pizzas, so preheated my pizza pan in a 500 degree oven, having pre-rolled the crust before placing on the pan (wonderful sizzling sound confirmed the crust would turn out crispy throughout!) Baked for about 7-8 minutes at 500 and the results were outstanding. The crust was crisp on the outside with a nice bite (slightly chewy) on the outer edge. My family insists this was the best yet. Adding this to my pizza night musts! Thank you for sharing your recipe.

It was very easy to make but my only critique is to add some spice in with the dough. It was a little bland but maybe that's just me! Next time I make this I'll probably add a little garlic and butter.
