I have used this recipe three years in a row now and will not do it any other way! It's so easy and literally there is NO reason to peel apples for apple butter, especially with this recipe.

I have been making apple butter for years without using a crock pot - this made it so easy to cook overnight, go to work and come home later with it almost done and ready to can!!

Such an amazinly easy way to make such a tasty addition to breakfast and desserts. We enjoy a stronger spicy taste. I added 2 Tablespoons of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
