Very Good with edits starting with tomato purée. Used dry onion & rehydrated, recipe equivalent. Chopped garlic in oil. Dash of Turmeric. Instead of heavy cream or 1/2 & 1/2, I substituted 1 cup divided thusly: Half cup water, quarter cup each skim milk and EVOO. We like our soup on the thicker side… You could thin it by stirring quarter cups of water to desired consistency.

I used canned whole tomatoes as I didn’t have any diced tomatoes. And partially dried basil. I’d probably use a bit less cream and try tomato sauce next time

Yummily...
I added 1tsp crushed chillies, 2tsps hemp seeds, 1tsp amchur powder, ginger, fresh mint, fresh coriander and 1 tsp mirin.

This was delicious! I omitted the basil because I didn't have any, and used onion powder and roasted garlic powder. it has a well-pronounced tomato flavor, much different from the canned soup I ate growing up. Perfect for dipping a grilled cheese sandwich!

It was very good! Only eat this if you like tomatoes- also, I recommend using a hand mixer over a blender, or else you'll get chunks. I used fresh tomatoes, and the flavour really stands out, but it was quick, and good.

Blah! Not good...not good I had to add some brown sugar so it wasn't so tin-y tasting even with that it was too much like pasta sauce Easy to make, although not worth it
