Overall, great start. I added white and black sesame seeds to the sauce. Next time, I'd reduce the sauce to make it thicker, and would definitely use more ginger/garlic, a little less sugar, and perhaps some red pepper flakes (or something to add heat).

It was great and the kids loved it...exactly like the sauce at the Chinese restaurants. It’s a little to sweet for me (even the one in the restaurants). I’ll go easy on the sugar next time.

Really pleased with this sauce. I made half of the batch, and with extra garlic and ginger.

Yummy! I subbed more honey for the sugar and used powdered garlic and ginger bc it’s what I had.

This recipe was very simple and fast, I must say it was a little bit too simple because I didn’t understand some of the instructions until I compared it to other recipes....
It turned out amazing perfectly how I like it I may add more ginger next time but it was wonderful I decided to make it with chicken broccoli and white rice quick and easy meal after a long day of class👌🏿😁

THE best teriyaki sauce I’ve ever made, or had for that matter. So good, my kids just requested I make teriyaki chicken every Tuesday night.....and they’re the pickiest eaters ever. This sauce just made them eat broccoli even. The only thing I did different, was I had to sub dried ginger instead of fresh, but other than that, I didn’t change a thing. Now I’m looking for other things to put this sauce on, because it’s that good.

A little too sweet and not salty enough for my liking. I also added some extra garlic
