- 28 oz. tomato puree (OR diced tomatoes with salt)
- 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. coconut sugar (or maple syrup, or stevia to taste)
- sea salt (to taste)
- 2 tsp. sweet paprika (or smoked)
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
- cardamom (optional)
- coriander (optional)
- 22.5 oz. chickpeas (cans, ~2 cups cooked, rinsed and drained)
- 5 kalamata (green or olives, pitted and halved, optional)
- lemon wedges
- bread (gluten free or this recipe or flatbread)
- chopped parsley (Fresh, or cilantro)
- rice (or cauliflower rice)
- brown rice pasta (I love Trader Joe's organic brand with quinoa)
