Cocada is a sweet treat made with coconut and sugar - with a pinch of heaven dust! Back in my school days, teachers used to tell this sweet was brought by African slaves and it became very popular in the Northeast side of Brazil.

It is very simple to make and even more delicious to eat! Cocada has a crusty layer that may fool at the first sight. But, after the first bite you will feel like in the food heaven!
